Role Summary:
We're looking for a civil/design engineer experienced in the planning and design of new wastewater treatment facilities. You'll work on everything from site development and utilities to structural layouts, pump stations, pipelines, and treatment building design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support civil/site design for wastewater treatment plants, pump/lift stations, pipelines and associated utilities.
  • Develop grading plans, stormwater and drainage design, utility coordination, and hydraulic modeling.
  • Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and process teams to ensure integrated design.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, submittals and design documents using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or related software.
  • Interface with municipalities, permitting agencies and clients to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in project scheduling and cost control to help keep the design on budget and on time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field). EIT or PE preferred.
  • 3-10+ years of civil/site design experience in water or wastewater treatment projects (new construction).
  • Experience with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, or similar.
  • Proficiency in coordination across disciplines (civil, structural, process).
  • Knowledge of local/state utility permitting requirements and municipal infrastructure design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
