We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full time Kennel Technician to take care of our boarding dogs and cats and also to help out at Front Desk when needed.

Front desk position is ONLY for experienced applicants who worked with dogs and cats in kennel environment for at least one full year.

Higher pay negotiable for highly experienced applicants.

This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, knowledge of dogs and cats and ensuring a welcoming environment for our clients and their pets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, cleaning kennels, feeding, exercising dogs and possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners while managing the front desk operations.

Duties

Kennel Technician duties such as disinfecting, feeding dogs and cats, medicating dogs and cats and dog exercising

  • When helping at front desk - greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups for veterinary services.
  • Handle client inquiries regarding services, pricing, and pet care information.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, appointments, and pet information in the system.
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process for clients and their pets.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in boarding kennel environment/ pet care/ dog daycare /customer service is required (but we are happy to train very enthusiastic and dedicated person as well)
  • Skills in dog training, pet grooming, pet sitting, or kennel experience are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with animal handling techniques
  • Veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to lift heavy items as needed (up to 50 pounds).
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional client experiences.
