Job Title: Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects that shape our infrastructure and communities. What you'll do

  • Design and develop civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and water treatment facilities.
  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit to create detailed schematics and project plans.
  • Conduct project scheduling and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery of all phases of construction.
  • Perform construction estimating to provide accurate cost assessments for project proposals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical engineering and hydraulics into project designs.
  • Oversee construction inspection processes to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports that communicate project progress and findings effectively.
  • Implement Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data analysis and mapping relevant to civil engineering projects.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with construction management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and system design principles.
  • Understanding of land surveying techniques and their application in civil engineering projects.
  • Ability to apply Mathcad for complex calculations related to engineering tasks.
