Job Title: Civil Engineer
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects that shape our infrastructure and communities. Your expertise will guide projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet both safety standards and client expectations. Join us in making a tangible impact on the world around us
What you'll do
- Design and develop civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and water treatment facilities.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit to create detailed schematics and project plans.
- Conduct project scheduling and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery of all phases of construction.
- Perform construction estimating to provide accurate cost assessments for project proposals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical engineering and hydraulics into project designs.
- Oversee construction inspection processes to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports that communicate project progress and findings effectively.
- Implement Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data analysis and mapping relevant to civil engineering projects.
Basic qualifications
- Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with construction management methodologies.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and system design principles.
- Understanding of land surveying techniques and their application in civil engineering projects.
- Ability to apply Mathcad for complex calculations related to engineering tasks.
