Join our dynamic team as a Hip Hop Dance Instructor, where you'll inspire and energize students of all ages through the vibrant art of hip hop dance In this role, you will create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity, self-expression, and physical fitness. Your passion for dance and commitment to teaching will empower students to develop their skills while having a blast in every class

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement engaging hip hop dance curricula tailored to various age groups, ensuring lessons are fun and educational.
  • Teach hip hop dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills to students ranging from beginners to advanced dancers.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
  • Provide individualized tutoring and support to students, helping them reach their personal dance goals.
  • Organize performances and showcases that highlight student progress and celebrate their achievements.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors to enhance the overall dance program and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages creativity and exploration in dance.
  • Utilize your diverse skill set in areas such as ballet, theater, or culinary arts to enrich the learning experience.

Basic qualifications

  • Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning specific to dance education.
  • Strong background in teaching with proven success in classroom management techniques.
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles and experience working with children of various ages.

Preferred qualifications

  • Background in early childhood education or preschool experience.
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs.
  • Experience with special education practices is a plus.
  • Additional skills such as photography or sewing can enhance the creative aspects of your classes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $26.06 per hour
