Description:

Bassett & Associates, PA is looking for a tax preparer to join our growing CPA firm with a national client base. Strong technical skills, communication skills and the ability to deliver a quality product in a timely manner are the keys to success for this position. Responsibilities include preparation of tax returns, including individual, corporate and partnership return, and technical research.

Our firm will provide you with:

Qualifications - Staff Accountant:

· BA/BS in Accounting preferred, 2-year accounting programs will be considered

· Candidates recently graduated with Internships at a CPA firm, or that have 2 years of public accounting experience in tax preparation

· Ability to accurately prepare the following, a plus:

  • Business returns (C-corps, S-corps, partnerships, LLC)
  • Individual returns (1040)

· Strong research and writing skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently from start to finish

· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with people of diverse ages and backgrounds

· Ability to manage client relationships

· Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

· MS Office

· Tax preparation software

· Electronic/online research tools (experience with RIA a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $68,844.90 per year
