Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Coordinator/Business Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental facility by managing administrative tasks, supporting clinical team members, and maintaining compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both dental front office and working as a dedicated Hygiene Coordinator. This candidate must have excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the hygiene schedule, ensuring that cancellation and No-Shows are managed based on set systems. Continually monitoring the hygiene schedule so that is is
  • Manage medical records and documentation review to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist the front desk with all aspects of administration including follow up on insurance claims, post payments, check-out, answering phones.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical team members, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow with proper scheduling.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both electronic and paper records, ensuring easy access to information as needed.

Skills

  • Proficient with dental terminology and knowledgeable of dental coding.
  • Working knowledge of EagleSoft.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance patient communication.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is essential; familiarity with dental terminology is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively while providing excellent patient service.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and filing processes.
