  • Instruction for our Spring Semester begins on January 5, 2026, and ends on April 26, 2026 – Final Course Grades are due on May 3, 2026

Course: The Correctional Function
This course provides an examination of the objectives, strategies, programs, roles, perspectives, and interagency relationships of correctional agencies.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring

  • Teaching Experience Required

  • Preferred: Justice Studies OR

  • Legal Studies OR

  • JD

  • OR Master's in the above areas

  • Exceptions may be granted to individuals with Master's in any field with 9 graduate credits in Justice Studies AND has substantial teaching experience
