Overview

Join me as a Dog Bather and Receptionist, where your enthusiasm for animals and exceptional customer service skills will shine In this lively role, you will be the first friendly face clients see and the expert responsible for ensuring every pet looks and feels their best.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and get pets situated at drop off and pick up
  • Handle pet restraint safely during grooming procedures, demonstrating animal handling expertise
  • Assist with pet care routines such as drying, brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and other grooming services
  • Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, reception area, and kennels to promote a hygienic environment
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, special instructions, or concerns about their pets' health or behavior

Experience

  • Previous experience in pet grooming or dog handling is expected.
  • Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with kennel operations or heavy lifting involved in pet care tasks is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
  • Experience working with various animals including dogs and cats demonstrates versatility in animal handling

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $1,234.00 per hour
