Job Opportunity: Sales Associate

Position Overview:

As a Sales Associate at our PVC Fence Supply Company, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers in selecting and purchasing PVC fencing products, providing product expertise, and delivering exceptional service to meet their fencing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, understand their fencing requirements, and provide knowledgeable assistance on our range of PVC fencing products.
  • Sales Generation: Proactively engage with customers to promote and sell PVC fencing solutions. Utilize effective selling techniques to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Product Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our PVC fencing products, including features, benefits, and installation specifications. Educate customers on product options and recommend suitable solutions based on their needs.
  • Order Management: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection, pricing, and delivery details. Coordinate closely with warehouse and logistics teams to fulfill orders promptly.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and cultivate long-term relationships.

  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive team environment.

  • Estimates and Measurements: Accurately assess customer fencing needs by obtaining measurements of installation areas. Produce detailed and accurate estimates for vinyl fence materials and accessories.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in a retail or building materials environment.
  • Familiarity with PVC fencing products or similar construction materials is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Perform tasks involving bending, stooping, and reaching.

Note: There is a 90-day probationary period.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Must demonstrate basic math proficiency and strong communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
