RN - Night Nurse Supervisor

Gorgeous Skilled Nursing Facility in Westchester County is seeking an experienced Night Nurse Supervisor. Great opportunity for RN with 1+ years of long term care experience. Hours: 11:30pm - 7:30am

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• RN Supervisor is responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the skilled nursing facility in accordance with current Federal and State regulations as well as local regulations as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
• Plans and provides managerial and/or clinical support to patients and staff within Nursing for health care and to promote good quality of life.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing education. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is the preferred..
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Two years of management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations is preferred.
• Knowledge of application of current nursing techniques and procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing service policies and procedures.
• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. High-energy, articulate and intelligent person whose values, integrity, vision and enthusiasm that will inspire others.
• Ability to work with a team demonstrates a positive attitude and is a good role model for all nursing staff.
• Must possess excellent computer skills and the ability to work with an electronic medical record system.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
