Regional Traveling Maintenance Director

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Regional Traveling Plant Operations & Maintenance Director to support the Northeast Region. The Regional Traveling Plant Operations & Maintenance Director is responsible for directing, managing or supervising all unit activities and teams related to facility maintenance and engineering services; MEP, HVAC/R inc. the Boiler House and all day to day general maintenance within a healthcare facility. Position will provide interim support on site and will travel 100% of the time, with a schedule of 10 days on and 4 days off. Assigned to related projects as needed.
Job Responsibilities
• Manages and prioritizes maintenance work orders for MEP, HVAC, boilers and chillers. Ensures effective execution of all department strategies/initiatives in order to help meet company & client needs with high standards of excellence, urgency & predictability by remaining process-focused and decisive.

• Assists with managing labor costs, supply costs and inventories
• Maintain and use capital equipment efficiently
• Ensures compliance with all contract obligation
• Supports the effective implementation of the comprehensive Safety Plan and helps with driving full compliance of all safety rules, guidelines and protocols
• May conduct operational audits and helping to ensure a high level of execution and compliance
• Drive operational efficiencies, labor/scheduling productivity
• Supports compliance with Aramark Facilities Services and regulatory agency standards and programs and translating corporate strategy into front line operational tactics and will ensure compliance with all government, local and other safety regulations
• Establishes and maintains effective communications and business relationships

Qualifications- Requires at least 2 years experience in a Plant Operations or Maintenance Management role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Technical experience or knowledge required with MEP, HVAC including boiler house, air handlers, chillers, cooling towers and general maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, to include Fire & Life Safety, Environment of Care as it pertains to Joint Commission and the Physical Environment.
- Healthcare experience required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead hourly trades. Experience managing a union workforce is a plus.
