Position Description 

As a Refrigeration EIT or Designer you will work individually, with senior engineers and with Project Managers in developing refrigeration system designs. This position performs calculations, selects components, and produces construction documents for systems specified by the Project Engineer. This role may act as Project Engineer for small projects. 

Position Salary Range*

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually.

Required Qualifications** 

Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree and/or equivalent experience2 to 5+ years of project experienceBasic knowledge of Autodesk MEP Revit, Auto CADD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and OutlookBasic knowledge of refrigeration systems and knowledge of (standard DX system, CO2 system and advanced hybrid)Basic knowledge of CalculationsHigh level of collaboration and communication

Position Responsibilities*** 

Perform engineering analysis and design calculationsAnalyze product literature, specifications and select major system componentsProduce plans, sections, details, specifications, and schedulesPrepare estimates, compare with client requirementsPlan projects and coordinate with other consultantsIntegrate all elements into design for client review and approvalProvide basic research into jurisdictional requirementsProvide and implement basic code researchPerform engineering studies and prepare reportsElectronically draft plans, schedules, profiles, surveys, diagrams, and details under the direction of the Project EngineerDrawing input, set up and red line correction changesSite travel

*Actual pay will be determined based on the candidate's years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law). This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
