Position Summary:

This role serves as the first line of support for MES-related issues on the shop floor. The MES Technician will work under the direction of the MES Application Engineer, and will work closely with the Production, Quality and Engineering departments, as well as IT. The person will be responsible for day-to-day MES operations, fixes, troubleshooting both software and hardware, as well as supporting reporting services.

Who is Verigon:

Verigon is a contract manufacturing company specializing in manufacturing PCBs. We are nearing completion of a brand-new Factory, to be fully operational in 2025. This state-of-the-art PCB manufacturing facility will be focused on producing high quantity and more complex PCBs. As a company, we are growing rapidly, and with our new factory we will double our total production floor in this upcoming year.

Qualification/Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with MES or production systems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in English.

  • Aegis Factory Logix knowledge preferred.

  • Experience with barcode systems, traceability, and production workflows is a plus.

  • Problem Solving/ Critical Thinking Skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot MES software and hardware to support manufacturing operations.

  • Create Just-In-Time flows for reworks.

  • Manage and perform product changeovers withing MES when job operations are updated or revised.

  • Ensure MES reflects the correct routing, operation sequences and documentation for updated product configurations.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to barcode scanning, data collection, and system integrations.

  • Provide training to end-users.

  • Maintain users and certifications within MES system.

  • Participate in meetings to support Quality, Production, and Engineering.

  • Support the team with system upgrades and updates, validating new software revisions.

Work Environment:

The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present. Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
