Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

K-12 educational support experience preferred

Must have proven problem-solving experience

Experience with disaggregating local and state testing data at multiple levels

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with confidential material

Must have working knowledge in use of database programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Access and Excel)

Experience with SQL Server SSMS and IBM SPSS

Experience with Tableau

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Must have working knowledge of test security procedures

Primary Purpose:

Provide student data management support for Katy ISD users and systems.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform student testing data entry into Katy ISD information systems.

  • Update and edit student data within the KISD information systems.

  • Support end users with student data issues.

  • Perform data analysis queries as required to support the district and campuses.

  • Assist campuses and district departments with understanding and using student data reports.

  • Assist in the production and delivery of data analysis and related reports.

  • Serve as a liaison between the Assessment and Technology Departments.

  • Perform additional tasks and duties as directed.

  • Complete special projects as assigned.

  • Assist with coordination of state and local assessment

  • Create and update assessment dashboards.

Equipment Used:

Personal computer, printer, copier/fax, calculator, scanner, Microsoft Office Suite (Access and Excel), SPSS, SQL Server, and Tableau

Working Conditions:

Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Occasional district-wide travel. Repetitive hand motions and prolonged use of a computer. Lifting and moving heavy boxes.
