With us, no more caseloads of 80+ students and groups of 6 students that feels more like babysitting than therapy. We limit groups to a max of 3 and manageable caseloads because the therapist decides how many students and hours they want to work. We only ask that you take a minimum of 20 students.

At a Glance

• Previous experience providing speech-language pathology services in an educational setting
• Active Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Familiarity with Frontline
• Familiarity with communication disorders
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Remote contract 1099 position.
• Minimum of 20 students per week for the school year – with potential for renewal
• Teletherapy experience a plus, but not required.

Before starting Lighthouse Therapy, our CEO and Speech-Language Pathologist, Janet Courtney, provided online therapy services for over ten years and overall as a therapist for nearly thirty years. She saw first-hand the problems that a company run by investors and businessmen can produce. Decisions were regularly made to improve the bottom line that negatively affected therapists, schools, and ultimately the students. She knew that a company's profits shouldn't come before a students well-being. So, she founded Lighthouse Therapy. (LHT).

LHT is a company run by therapists, for therapists, for the betterment of students. Janet understands the nuances of conducting sessions online, so every decision made centers around helping our therapists and students become more successful.
