Expo/foodrunner

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Expo/Foodrunner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service. This position requires a blend of food service skills, effective communication, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

• Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
• Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to quality standards and food safety regulations.
• Manage the expediting process by accurately communicating orders between the kitchen staff and servers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo area, including proper storage of food items.
• Buss tables and assist with resetting them for new guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and tracking.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all dishes are prepared according to specifications and presented beautifully.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with banquet service or catering is a plus, as well as any culinary or kitchen experience.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
