Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, responsible and energetic store Team Member to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service or retail, strong time management skills, and a passion for delivering a positive customer experience. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cashiering, and sales within a fast-paced restaurant or retail setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a quick service or fast food environment
  • Prepare food items according to company standards, including basic food preparation and sanitation procedures
  • Operate POS systems for cashiering and sales transactions
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations, including bussing tables and sanitation tasks
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Assist with food handling, serving, and grocery or retail tasks as needed
  • Support team members in maintaining efficient operations during busy hours

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, café, retail store, or grocery environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and food safety protocols
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
  • Experience in upselling and sales techniques is advantageous
  • Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings
