Job Summary

As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you'll assist experienced installers in setting up residential heating and cooling systems. You'll learn the trade by working side-by-side with skilled technicians, gaining hands-on experience in installation, safety practices, and customer communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of HVAC systems under supervision
  • Learn to read blueprints and follow installation specifications
  • Help ensure all work meets local codes and company quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site and vehicle
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent MacGregor professionally
  • Support the install team with material preparation and cleanup
  • Complete training assignments and participate in team meetings
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the install team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the HVAC trade
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in all types of Michigan weather
  • Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and tight areas
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Dependable, motivated, and eager to grow with the company
