Our Tower Service Manager earns $65,000 - $75,000/year. We're also offering a $2,500 signing bonus; half will be paid upon hire and the other half after 6 months of employment.

This is a remote position However, you need to live within a reasonable distance from an Illinois or Missouri office so you can come in as needed. We're also offering fantastic benefits and perks, including:

ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?

Our Tower Service Manager oversees others' work, supports efficient workflows, and coordinates with different departments to help our business grow You can expect to:

  • Work the second shift
  • Manage crews' schedules, communicate with field personnel, and assist them as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments to determine locations for new internet towers, identify networks in need of maintenance, and notify customers about planned outages
  • Ensure field technicians complete high-quality work and comply with all safety regulations
  • Train employees and work within the budget to meet equipment and workload needs
  • Help HR hire, train, schedule, and review new staff
  • Lead department meetings, approve time off, follow up with customers, and tackle other management duties
  • Forecast large construction project timelines and track job progress

ARE YOU THE TOWER SERVICE MANAGER WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of tower climbing experience
  • Ability to climb 1,000 ft. internet towers and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to complete tower training within 90 days of hire and maintain required certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to come into the office as needed
  • Punctuality and dependability
  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent writing, documentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and service reliability
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
  • Legal authorization to work in the US

Preferred Criteria:

  • 2+ years of professional experience with scheduling and Telecom/ISP
  • Experience managing budgets and controlling resources
  • Leadership experience
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency
  • Knowledge of cell site design, foundation design, grounding, fencing, and tower erection
