Your Role

As a Project Manager for Major Capital Projects, you will lead cross-functional project teams to deliver and implement capital projects exceeding $30 million USD across multiple sites. This position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and proven project management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full life cycle of capital projects — from conceptual design and cost estimation to implementation and deployment.
  • Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Oversee all aspects of project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, vendor selection, and proposal evaluations.
  • Define Statements of Work (SOW) and specifications for all goods and services.
  • Track and manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business functions.
  • Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives — including Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, MOCs, PSSRs, LOPA, and SIS implementation.
  • Report on project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
  • Contribute to establishing best practices, policies, templates, and tools for capital project management.
  • Travel up to 50% may be required.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)
  • 15–20 years of proven experience in project management for large-scale capital projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent technical and data analysis abilities
  • Demonstrated capacity to learn new chemistries and processes
  • Deep understanding of project and program management principles and Process Safety Management requirements

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 USD
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
