Why Stifel:

Stifel strives for a culture that puts its clients and associates first: a culture where everyone belongs, everyone is welcome, and everyone contributes to the success of our clients, their careers, and the firm as a whole.

Let's talk about how you can find your place here at Stifel, where success meets success.

What You'll Be Doing:

Stifel's 10-week Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program provides students with a hands-on introduction to the role of an Investment Banking Analyst. You will work alongside our banking professionals, from the Analyst through Managing Director levels, to experience the Stifel culture and gain exposure to a variety of transactions, including merger and acquisition advisory services, debt and equity financings, and financial restructuring services.

The program is structured to provide each Summer Analyst with the support needed for a successful summer, beginning with a robust training program focused on developing a strong foundation in basic financial analysis, accounting, and valuation skills. We expand on this training with opportunities for career exploration and development through our formal mentorship program, social networking events, mid and end-of-summer reviews, end-of-program group projects, and other significant learning opportunities outside of day-to-day delivery on projects.

What We're Looking For:

Summer Analyst candidates should possess a keen interest in finance, outstanding academic records, and a commitment to extracurricular endeavors. The ideal candidate will possess both the following required and desired qualifications.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment with strong interpersonal skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis preferred
  • Well-rounded set of interests and involvement in extra-curricular activities beyond academics. Strong candidates will also demonstrate leadership abilities through their involvement in these endeavors.

What You'll Bring:
