SCHEDULER/CNA – Full-Time – Albany Care, Evanston, IL

Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an Immediate Opening for an Experienced Scheduler. This is a Full-Time position with a 8am-4:30 pm Schedule Will be on call. Will Occasionally work as a CNA as Needed.

$22-$24 per hour, Plus full Benefit Package

Responsibilities of the Scheduler

  • Communicate with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure coordination of information and maintain accuracy of nursing schedule
  • Prepare daily staffing sheets, providing continual revisions as necessary
  • Complete a weekly listing of vacant nursing positions for DON
  • Follow facility policy and DON guidelines for numbers and assignments of staff
  • Communicate regularly with corporate office and agency contacts and maintain positive, proactive business relationships
  • Foster relationships with CNAs and nursing staff to promote an optimal working environment
  • Other clerical duties as assigned

Requirements

Requirements of the Scheduler:

  • High School diploma
  • CNA Certification
  • Scheduling experience required
  • Health care industry experience is a plus
  • Must be organized and demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adult
