You'll play a vital role in delivering security solutions that keep people and property safe.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic security systems and data communication networks.
- Working with access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems.
- Installing and terminating copper and fiber cabling.
- Performing system testing, functional checks, and documentation.
- Collaborating with skilled teammates and other trades to ensure every system performs flawlessly.

- 1+ years of experience installing low-voltage structured cabling systems (Fiber/Data, Access Control, CCTV, and IDS).
- Knowledge of low-voltage electronics, wiring, and standard color codes.
- Experience coordinating within the construction industry and using test equipment.
- Understanding basic networking principles and communication systems.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass DMV, drug, and background verifications.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% and ability to obtain government clearance.
- Experience with Lenel, Milestone, or AXIS systems.
- Federal government project experience.
- Networking knowledge or relevant certifications.
Pay may vary depending on project type and work location. Employees working on prevailing wage contracts or traveling between job sites will be compensated in accordance with applicable wage laws, project requirements, and company policy. Trofholz ensures all compensation practices comply with federal and state labor laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and prevailing wage standards.
