Duties

*Provide small group (4-5 students) instruction to middle school students in math (Grade 8)

*Use proven Huntington curriculum and teaching methods (no lesson planning required)

*Track student progress and communicate with the Center Director about growth and goals

*Support students in building confidence and mastering key math skills

*Create a positive, focused learning environment tailored to each student's needs

Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree required (Education or math- related field preferred)

*Teaching certification or classroom experience strongly preferred

*Strong knowledge of middle school math concepts

*Patient, enthusiastic, and able to build rapport with students

*Must be reliable and able to work 8am-3pm, 5 days a week, 4-6 hours per day (follows Hampton County School calendar)
