Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team( independent Contractor) or a Licensed Social Worke ( LSW ) in need of LCSW supervision ( W2 employee) . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and mental health counseling, with a focus on providing high-quality care to children and their families. This role involves working collaboratively with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support through the use of CBT with an incorporation of play therapy when appropriate.
Therapy 4 Kidz is a small friendly practice that supports its clinicians in what they do.
WHY Therapy 4 Kidz?
- Flexibility in schedule, hours and number of patients you want to see ( however we will be working with Children and Teens therefore afterschool, evening and Saturday availability is needed )
- Assistance in credentialing and onboarding with managed care companies
- Beautiful office space with fiber internet within the office
- Hybrid -Telehealth and in person client appointments. ( mostly in person is needed)
- Medical billing will be provided.
- Referrals are continuously being made internally by Therapy4Kidz, in addition to the referrals you generate as an independent contractor or if you are an LSW ( supervision and W2 employee )
- Pay: Reimbursement based on number of clients seen – up to $58,000 - $100,000
- Flexible schedule – but must meet needs of clients schedules (minimum of 15-20 per week). Afterschool, evening and Saturday appointments will be needed to see these clients.
- Choose your own hours.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide clinical counseling and support to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Required: CBT Additional modalities is a plus: DBT, EMDR, and Play Therapy.
- Manage casework effectively, ensuring that clients receive appropriate services and resources.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients, including referrals to other services as needed.
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress and outcomes.
- Stay informed about current trends in social work, mental health counseling, and medical terminology.
- Provide support and guidance to families, particularly those with children experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a Master's degree in Clinical Professional Counseling (MC) from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) OR Licensed Social Worker in State of TN ( LSW)
- Strong skills in social work practices, case management, patient assessment, and clinical counseling.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards.
- Experience working with children and Teens is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in practice.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $ $68.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
