Position Overview
The Production Planner/Expeditor plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and expediting materials to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to reduce waste and ensure availability of materials.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Analyze production requirements and forecast demand to adjust plans as necessary.
  • Utilize ERP systems to track production progress and inventory levels.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and reduce costs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on production goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management and production planning.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics and demand forecasting is a plus.
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Lean Manufacturing practices is preferred.
