About the Role

As a Sr. Engineer specializing in Microsoft Purview, you will be pivotal in supporting the company's data security strategy. You'll administer and configure Purview solutions (Compliance Manager, Data Lifecycle Management, Data Loss Prevention, DSPM, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, and more).

Responsibilities

  • Designing, testing, deploying, and managing Purview controls and policies
  • Partnering with business units
  • Maintaining compliance with global regulations (GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA)
  • Conducting audits
  • Tracking KPIs
  • Recommending improvements to global data security policies
  • Occasional travel

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience at a global scale, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity focused on data security programs

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview solutions (including Compliance Manager and Information Protection)
  • Experience with global data security programs and technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA)
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong ethical judgment
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing security landscapes and emerging threats
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork
  • Understanding of data at rest and in transit encryption methods
