Job Summary:

Our client, a leading financial organization, is seeking a highly skilled
Lead Software Engineer
to manage a portfolio of technology projects and mentor a team of engineers. This role focuses on building scalable, cloud-based solutions that drive business impact while ensuring regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead multiple technology projects and guide a team of engineers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, experiment with new tools, and actively contribute to internal and external tech communities.
  • Mentor team members and occasionally contribute directly to coding or code reviews.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that provide meaningful experiences for millions of users.
  • Develop solutions using languages and tools such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, open-source databases (RDBMS and NoSQL), container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS cloud services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships).
  • 1+ year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • 9+ years of experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
  • 4+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
  • 1+ year of people management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working within Agile development practices.
