Job Overview

Looking for a real estate agent to work in the Newark, NJ area that will be part of an established real estate team lead based out Hoboken. This is perfect for anyone who is either looking to get their real estate license, already in process to get one, or already has it and looking for a change. You will receive leads and mentorship as needed and will be apart of a local top real estate company/team.

Please note: This is a 100% commission based position.

What will you do?

-Generating client leads to buy, sell, and rent a property

  • Advising and guiding clients through the home buying, selling or renting process

-Showing properties to potential buyers and renters and/or renters/landlords.

-Facilitating negotiations between buyers/sellers and/or renters/landlords

-Preparing contracts, purchase agreements, rental agreements, and other documents for each real estate transaction.

-Promoting properties with ads, listings, and open houses

Knowledge/Skills:

-Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills

-Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills

-Ability to keep accurate records

-People ordinated

-Attentive to detail

-Happy, positive attitude

Schedule

-Totally Flexible, but will be asked to come in to the office in Hoboken at least once a week.

Requirements/preferences:

-NJ Real Estate License will be required to obtain if not already.

-Prior sales experience preferred

-Social media savvy

-Essex County resident preferred

-Having a car is preferred

-College graduate preferred
