We are seeking a dedicated and talented Full-Time Cosmetologist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty and wellness, with expertise in hair styling, hair extensions, and grooming services. Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions
  • Utilize salon software systems like VAGARO for appointment scheduling and client management
  • Manage retail sales through upselling products such as hair care items and accessories
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations
  • Assist with front desk duties including client check-in/out and appointment confirmations
  • Mentor junior staff members and contribute to team training efforts
  • Manage store operations effectively, including inventory control and merchandising
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalized recommendations

Requirements

  • Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling, color theory, and sanitation practices
  • Knowledge of retail math and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
  • Experience with hair extensions, makeup application, and or any specialized training is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
  • Ability to work full-time hours including weekends if needed; flexibility is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Store management experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential
