Job Title: Community Support Specialist

Location: Concord, CA

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 3:30pm

Pay: 22.50/hour

As a Community Support Specialist:, you won't just provide support, you'll join in on adventures, help people try new activities, and celebrate their successes. From driving, to swimming lessons, horseback riding, pickle ball games, trips to San Francisco, ferry rides, and volunteer opportunities, your work will be dynamic, hands-on, and deeply rewarding.

What You'll Do:

  • Support individuals in exploring hobbies, recreational activities, and social experiences
  • Assist with community outings, educational programs, and volunteer opportunities
  • Help people achieve their personal goals and gain independence in daily life
  • Advocate for individuals' choices and self-determination
  • Plan, implement, and track individualized programs and services
  • Build connections with community organizations, businesses, and resources
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and fun environment for all participants

Who We're Looking For:

  • People who are energetic, compassionate, and enjoy spending time in the community
  • Previous experience in direct support highly preferred, and we provide training
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enthusiasm for helping people try new things, explore their community, and grow their skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for outings and transportation)
