About

Blazel is a new VC-backed AI startup that helps 100+ founders and executives grow their audience through AI-powered marketing. Founded by Zain Jaffer ($780M prior exit), the company aims to disrupt executive communications and public relations.

The company has gone $0-$1M ARR in 6 months (whilst in stealth) and expects to break $3M ARR in Q1.

We're hiring a VP Sales to scale revenue from ~$3M ARR to $10M ARR by end of 2026, build a high-velocity sales org, and introduce AI-driven workflows across the entire GTM motion. This role sits on the executive leadership team and owns the full new-business and expansion engine.

Your mandate: build a high-performing sales machine that consistently hits aggressive ARR targets while implementing AI across every internal workflow.

Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the revenue plan to hit $10M ARR by EOY 2026 and $30M ARR by EOY 2027.
  • Lead both inbound and outbound sales motions; validate channels and refine repeatable playbooks.
  • Build vertical-specific playbooks across key industries (Fintech, Real Estate, AI/ML, HealthTech etc.).
  • Introduce AI-driven sales workflows (prospecting, prioritization, attribution, reporting) across the team.
  • Carry a quota in the first 6–12 months to establish credibility and model the sales motion.
  • Run late-stage deals alongside the AEs and drive expansions with existing customers.
  • Lead the current team of 3 AEs, growing to 6 AEs within 6 months.

Process Implementation

  • Hire additional sellers rapidly post-Series A, including potential international AEs and SDR pods.
  • Develop onboarding, enablement, and performance frameworks that support fast hiring.
  • Partner with RevOps (already in place) to maintain reporting accuracy, forecasting, and pipeline discipline.
  • Create a scalable, metrics-driven sales process optimized for speed and consistency.
  • Use AI agents internally to streamline outreach, follow-ups, and opportunity qualification.
  • Ensure the team maintains high volume and quality: discovery, demos, proposals, follow-through.
  • Standardize expansion workflows in collaboration with Customer Success.

What You Bring

  • Proven ability to scale revenue from roughly $3M ARR → $30M ARR.
  • Strong track record of crushing quota as both an IC and leader.
  • Experience managing fast-moving sales teams in SaaS, AI, martech, or similar high-velocity environments.
  • Comfortable owning both inbound and outbound motions with short sales cycles.
  • Direct experience with multi-seat or expansion-based sales.
