This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cross-border taxation, technical problem-solving, and supporting multinational clients in navigating complex tax challenges.As an ITS Senior, your primary mission is to ensure that clients' international operations remain fully compliant with Mexican and global tax regulations while helping identify opportunities to optimize their overall tax position. You will contribute to high-impact projects such as:Applying tax treaties and the Multilateral Instrument to prevent double taxationReviewing tax-efficient structures, including dividend decrees and cross-border reorganizationsSupporting SAT audits, due diligence processes, and risk assessmentsDelivering technical analyses that provide clear, actionable insights for clients and leadershipKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly and annual tax calculations, filings, and electronic reportingSupport the analysis and application of Mexican tax law (LISR, LIVA, CFF) and international tax treatiesReview equity transactions, dividend decrees, and cross-border tax structuresParticipate in SAT audits and due diligence reviews by preparing documentation and technical responsesConduct tax research using global research tools (Checkpoint, Sisthemis)Draft high-quality technical memoranda and reports in English and SpanishCollaborate closely with managers and partners to ensure timely, accurate project deliveryProvide guidance to junior staff and contribute to a high-performance team environmentQualification RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field4–6 years of experience in corporate tax, international tax, or related areasStrong understanding of Mexican tax regulations and cross-border tax conceptsProficiency with SAT systems (DIM/DEM/DIOT), CONTPAQi (or similar), and MS OfficeStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearlyProfessional integrity, teamwork, and a results-driven mindsetAdvanced English (written and verbal) is requiredWhat can we offer?An immediate incorporation into a multinational firm with a consolidated position in the audit, tax, and consulting marketOpportunity to get international exposure as part of your professional developmentCompetitive remuneration and compensation packageTraining plan that will enable you to achieve the highest levels of technical excellence and leadership to build personalized and rewarding careersSupportive work environment, promoting a permanent culture of feedback>How to applyInterested candidates should apply directly to the vacancy by sharing their updated CV.More about Forvis MazarsAt Forvis Mazars, you don't just join a firm — you join a community.
