The Center for Hope and Healing, Inc. (CHH) is seeking a passionate and highly qualified Community Outreach Coordinator to support trauma-informed outreach, advocacy, and engagement efforts. This role is instrumental in coordinating our mobile healing unit, Driving Hope, and building strong partnerships with community organizations to expand survivor-centered services.

Your Role in This Mission:
As Community Outreach Advocate, you will:
Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations, community leaders, and service providers to enhance outreach efforts.
Coordinate Driving Hope's mobile healing unit schedule, presence, and community appearances to ensure accessibility for survivors.
Research and identify strategic locations within the community to serve priority populations.
Organize and participate in community events, focus groups, and public awareness campaigns to promote CHH's services.
Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive direct services to survivors, including 1:1 crisis counseling and referrals.
Assist with emergency resource distribution and outreach material dissemination.
Ensure services remain accessible and relevant to diverse populations, including BIPOC, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities.
Support survivors with navigation of essential services such as housing, healthcare, and public assistance.
Participate in 24-hour hotline coverage, medical advocacy response, and web-based chat support.
Work closely with internal teams to coordinate outreach strategies and strengthen CHH's community presence.
Support training and capacity-building initiatives, including assisting in CHH's internal Rape Crisis Counselor (RCC) training.
Maintain accurate records and data tracking to assess program impact and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Support annual development plan in collaboration with Executive Director and Education and Engagement Manager
Assist with the production of marketing materials including flyers, e-newsletters, drafting appeals, timely acknowledgements and correspondence
Contribute community stories and data that highlight impact for reports, social media, and donor communications
What We're Looking For:
- Advanced degree in social work, psychology, community organizing, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working in survivor advocacy, crisis response, or gender-based violence services.
- Massachusetts Rape Crisis Counselor Training (or willingness to complete upon hire).
- Strong understanding of culturally relevant practices for BIPOC, immigrant, and underserved communities.
- Familiarity with Greater Lowell communities and service networks.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google platforms.
