We are are seeking Unit Managers to help continue our legacy of Opening Hearts and Minds One Story at a Time.

The Unit Manager is responsible for day to day operations of the dine-in theater. This includes ensuring a seamless guest experience and promoting a positive and safe work environment for Team Members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Unit Manager helps coordinate dine-in theater operations to achieve Studio Movie Grill's goals. The Unit Manager also supports the management team by communicating expectations to all associates in a professional and safe work environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that Team Members satisfy all Studio Movie Grill guest service standards
  • Performing daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties
  • Ensuring proper staffing in each area
  • Assisting with hiring, training, and coaching Team Members
  • Working effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners
  • Listening, communicating, and working to resolve guest concerns
  • Delivering timely results with minimal supervision
  • Maintaining regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts
  • All other functions as designated by the General Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality business (bar, restaurant, etc.) or retail management
  • Minimum of 2 year of restaurant supervisory experience
  • Dine in theater experience a plus
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced, guest centric environment
  • Ability to obtain any required alcohol service licenses or certifications, including T.I.P.S. Certification
  • Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of all staff functions

Compensation: $68, $70,000.00/yr + Bonus Potential
