Your leadership will directly impact the success of our restaurant by fostering a positive work culture and maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation in line with brand standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to build a motivated, skilled, and cohesive culinary team.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food stock levels to minimize waste and control costs.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to uphold consistency in food taste, appearance, and overall presentation.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and excellent customer experience.
- Assist in budgeting activities, including labor costs, food costs, and overall financial performance of the kitchen.
- Participate in hiring interviews to select qualified candidates who align with our hospitality standards.
- Support catering events, banquet services, or special functions as needed to expand our food offerings.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional growth through ongoing training & development initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on staff training & development in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Excellent understanding of inventory control practices and food safety regulations (including HACCP standards).
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and performing financial analysis related to food service operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
