What you'll do

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures for various surfaces, including floor care and industrial cleaning tasks.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction through seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate departments.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish)

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong background in cleaning techniques, floor care, janitorial practices, and custodial experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to foster teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
