Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician and become a vital part of ensuring optimal climate control and mechanical system performance across diverse facilities. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will keep environments comfortable, safe, and efficient while providing exceptional service to clients. This is a 1099 contract position. We're looking for motivated professionals eager to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting.

Duties

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex HVAC/R systems effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment to identify issues early and prevent system failures.
  • Diagnose problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices; execute repairs with precision.
  • Handle plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs; operate welding equipment when necessary.
  • Reports for all performed tasks; ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist with property maintenance projects involving HVAC design modifications or upgrades; support field service operations across multiple sites.

Skills

  • Over 5 years experience of strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; familiarity with HVAC/R systems is essential.
  • Proficient in using and have your own diagnostic tools such as, gages, ohmmeters; capable of equipment repair and troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC design principles enhances your versatility.
  • Valid driver's license
