Job Title:
Field Engineer - Civil Construction

Overview
We are seeking a
Field Engineer
to join our civil construction team. This role is ideal for someone with
3+ years of experience
on
excavation, sitework, heavy highway, bridge, or related infrastructure projects
who is looking to grow into a
Superintendent career path
. This position is
based locally with no travel required
.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with daily field operations.
  • Support project layout, quantity tracking, and documentation of work performed.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure project schedules and quality standards are met.
  • Review plans, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and constructability.
  • Monitor safety and quality control on active job sites.
  • Provide technical support and help resolve field issues as they arise.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in civil construction (excavation, sitework, heavy highway, or bridge projects).
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with AutoCAD or construction layout tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Desire for career advancement into field leadership and superintendent roles.
  • No travel required.
