Title / Incumbent: Data Analyst

Classification: Full-time / Exempt

Reports to: Director of IT

Supervises: N/A

Coordinates with: Marketing Staff, Data/IT Staff, Customer Service Staff, President, National Sales Manager

Primary Duties:

  • Creates and maintains reports for the business
  • Prepare reports for customer monthly sales and quarterly business reviews
  • Prepare monthly reports for CMP division corporate meetings
  • Prepare daily data tracking sheets for CMP Division
  • Normalize customer data through access database and prepare sales reports for CMP division
  • Formulates and analyzes monthly rebate reports for customers
  • Maintains the Competitor Cross Reference Database

Secondary Duties/Responsibilities:

· Maintain integrity of data in , and ERP

· Assist Senior Staff in ad hoc reports

· Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement

· Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data

· Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

Measures of Performance:

· Completion of assignments on schedule or in advance of promised dates

· Contributions to team effort to accomplish Marketing and overall Company objectives, including increasing Company sales and profitability

· Demonstration of high level of professionalism and knowledge related to both customers and co-workers

· Development of strong knowledge of Company products

Education, experience & required skills:

· High School Diploma, Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience

· Zero (0) to Five (5) years' experience in customer focused business-to-business environment

· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

· Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills

· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Access

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $50,000.00 per year
