Join Our Team

SDi is seeking to expand its team by welcoming an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in Mechanical and Product Development, specifically within Suspension Systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills essential for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and for documenting technical work in a clear and organized manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and is proficient in performing basic mathematical calculations

· Adheres to specifications and calculations for developing a variety of technical drawings

· Prepares both preliminary sketches and detailed designs utilizing SolidWorks software

· Exhibits mechanical proficiency, including the ability to disassemble and assemble suspension components

· Capable of reverse engineering existing parts

· Communicates effectively with engineers and integrates acquired knowledge into technical drawings

· Collaborates with the engineering team to prepare, review, and refine drawings

· Ensures that final designs comply with established company standards

· Possesses foundational skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

· Skilled in using measurement instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers

· Manages multiple assignments simultaneously with effective multitasking abilities

· Works collaboratively within a team environment

· Accepts direction and completes assigned tasks promptly

Pay: $65, $95,000.00 per year
