Position: Entry Level Full-Stack Developer (Android)

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has recently graduated from a competitive program in Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or related disciplines to consider joining the elite team at Temple Allen Industries in Rockville, MD.

As part of our Engineering team, you will bring your talents, energy, and dedication to the cutting edge and interdisciplinary development of surface process automation technologies that integrate unique mechanical / pneumatic tooling with a collaborative automation controls methodology that incorporates ML and AI.

Responsibilities include:

· Develop and refine our application GUI, integrating sensor inputs, live camera footage, stored data, and intuitive visual touch-based control elements.

· Produce high quality code documentation and use of GitHub

· Make mission critical design decisions, often working on constrained project timelines.

· Be integral part of a team of developers for both front-end and back-end development

· Keep engineering and management teams updated on project progress and deadlines

· Create software architecture, software lifecycle, and code guideline documentations for future maintenance and development

· Work with multiple teams of various discipline engineers to achieve project goals.

· Perform regular risk assessments and have a multi-layered approach to providing secure solutions to clients.

· Coordinate with colleagues to optimize system reliability and performance

· Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of tasks

· Recommend new or more effective approaches where appropriate

Key Qualifications include:

· Experience with Web GUI Development, GitHub, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, HTML,

· Experience with ubuntu Linux, Machine Vision, and database communication

· High quality documentation skills and habits

· B.S. in field of computing, software engineering, software development, IT, computer science, robotics, or related.

· Having or wanting to develop genuine leadership skills

· Exhibiting a positive attitude and an inquisitive nature

· Maintain COVID-19 vaccination status according to CDC Guidelines

Preferred Skills and Expertise include:

· Experience with Industrial Interfaces, Human-centric Design, and touch-based input

· Familiarity with machine learning, neural networks, and unstructured data processing
