Responsibilities of the Distribution Center Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise daily operations of the distribution center to ensure accurate inventories, high fulfillment rates, and excellent customer service
  • Oversee all pick and pack functions, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory accounting
  • Supervise receiving operations, including verification of shipments, vendor and freight issue resolution, and proper stocking of inventory
  • Lead and mentor service team leads and all warehouse associates across picking, packing, shipping, and receiving functions
  • Maintain backlog of orders and receipts within customer requirements and company standards
  • Train personnel on procedures, policies, and safe work practices
  • Record and track warehouse transactions in company systems (Neterprise)
  • Ensure facility cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment maintenance
  • Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with employment laws
  • Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when required
  • Represent and promote the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Assist management with work solutions, employee relations, and operational issues as needed

Qualifications of the Distribution Center Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • College degree or equivalent military training required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in warehousing and distribution in a fast-paced pick and pack environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and personnel management skills

Additional Information

  • Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Working Conditions: Warehouse/Industrial environment
  • Training/Certifications: N/A
  • Shift Time/Overtime: Monday–Friday, with flexibility as needed
  • Travel: Minimal
