About the Role:

The Program Director is responsible for overseeing all facets of the Program to ensure alignment with Comagine Health's strategic goals and full compliance with contractual obligations. This includes:

  • Leading the strategic planning and execution of the program,
  • Establishing and managing inclusive and transparent governance structures that support cross-sector collaboration among the community and other partners,
  • Engaging community partners and subject matter experts to design program components and identify and build priorities,
  • Developing and managing a framework for decision making to further the program objectives and outcomes
  • Directing the implementation, integration, and ongoing operation of the program, ensuring its usability, interoperability, and scalability across a wide range of service delivery systems.
  • Leading the evaluation of program performance and outcomes and adjusting operations accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in program management within the health care sector.
  • 12 years of industry experience using data to evaluate program impact, quality assurance, or similar uses.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of health care regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or a related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in a related field in program management within the healthcare sector, State Federal or Local government health and or human services, public health, or social care systems.
  • Experience with grant writing and management.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and health data analytics.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar credentials.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and community health initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the key representative of the program in a predominantly external-facing capacity
  • Develop and maintain the overall program strategy, goals, and performance metrics in alignment with funder directives and Comagine Health's mission.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the key partners, ensuring clear and timely communication on program status and compliance.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all phases of the Program lifecycle—from design and pilot through implementation and ongoing operations.
  • Direct the management of all subcontractors and technology partners.

Skills:

The Program Director utilizes leadership and organizational skills daily to coordinate complex health programs and lead diverse teams effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging stakeholders, negotiating partnerships, and reporting to senior management. Analytical skills are applied to interpret program data, assess outcomes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of health care regulations and compliance ensures that programs meet legal and ethical standards. Additionally, proficiency in project management and budgeting supports efficient resource allocation and program sustainability.
