Role Overview

As a Client Support Technician (Tier 1.5), you will be responsible for workstation support, M365 troubleshooting, ticket triage, remote support, and customer communication. You will play a critical role in stabilizing daily operations and supporting our senior engineering staff. This role is hands-on and requires someone who can show up, communicate clearly, follow processes, and deliver consistent results.

What You'll Do Technical Support (Workstations, M365, Endpoints)

  • Resolve tickets involving Windows 10/11, MFA, M365 apps, printers
  • Perform workstation builds, troubleshooting, and deployments
  • Provide remote support through GoTo Resolve
  • Assist with network/Wi-Fi issues
  • Support onboarding of new devices and users
  • Install and verify endpoint protection, backups, and monitoring agents

Operations & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate ticket notes in Freshdesk
  • Assist with hardware inventory, asset tracking, and CRM entries
  • Follow documented procedures (SOPs) and update documentation when needed
  • Support internal processes like SafeCheck scanning, LaunchPad onboarding, etc.

Customer Interaction

  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Set expectations with clients
  • Represent ETS positively during on-site visits

What We're Looking For Required Experience:

  • 1–3 years IT support experience
  • Strong familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
  • Basic networking understanding (IP addressing, subnets, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
  • Understanding of ticketing systems and service workflows

Nice to Have:

  • MSP experience
  • Experience with Barracuda, Duo, SentinelOne, Fortinet, Unifi
  • Basic PowerShell

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $42,000–$50,000
  • Benefits included based on ETS policies
