Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, and ensuring that the store operates smoothly. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
  • Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
  • Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels, track sales trends, and assist with restocking as needed.
  • Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns over the phone.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a retail sale environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential for accurate transactions.
  • Experience in merchandising and stocking is a plus.
