The Speech House, LLC is a therapist-owned private practice providing speech therapy and occupational therapy at our clinics in Osage Beach, Rolla, and Waynesville. Our family-centered clinics empower our staff to maximize their full potential while providing exceptional client care to children with a variety of needs.

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP)
  • Hold or able to obtain Missouri Board of Healing Arts license
  • CCC or CFY accepted

Requirements :

  • 1 year of experience in the evaluation and treatment of communication disorders in children
  • Able to provide structured and play-based therapy within early intervention, preschool, and school-aged populations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic to clients' needs and concerns to promote our clinic's mission
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Must love to play with children

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate clients in speech, language, pragmatics, AAC, and dysphagia
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using appropriate clinical competencies and clinical reasoning to address client-specific needs
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' speech and language skills
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
  • Work as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team by demonstrating professionalism with colleagues, support staff, physicians, and teachers
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with clients and their family members
  • Treat a varied caseload of children from early intervention to school-aged

Speech and Language Disorders Commonly Treated:

ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Aphasia, Apraxia, Articulation, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Expressive Language, Fluency, Hearing Loss, Pragmatic Language, Receptive Language

Feeding Disorders Commonly Treated:

Ankyloglossia, Dysphagia, Oral Motor Dysfunction, Pediatric Feeding Disorder

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $85,000.00 per year
