Shipping and Receiving Clerk - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for overseeing all shipping and receiving functions for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), including the operation of material handling equipment. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will provide support in unloading shipments from delivery trucks at the loading dock, and if the loading dock is not available, curbside. In this role the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist Property Custodial Officers with the application of appropriate decals to sensitive and accountable personal property items.

· Support IT department by inputting IT equipment information, such as model number, nomenclature, serial number, and other identifying information into EPA tracking software (Sunflower).

· Maintain receipt of all incoming shipments; except IT equipment as this will be received by an EPA staff member

· Notify employees of items delivered.

· Print labels for UPS shipments.

· Ensure the Shipping and Receiving department remains clean, always organized and clutter free.

WHAT MATTERS TO US:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

· Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.

· Muse have a current or able to obtain a Electric Pallet Jack Certification

· Must have excellent analytical skills and are creative problem solvers

· Must be highly organized with good oral and written communication skills

· Must have excellent skills engaging Microsoft Excel and Word

· Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance

WHAT WILL MATTER TO YOU:

Muse Technologies offers its employees' salaries that are commensurate with their experience, and that are market compatible. This position will have multiple duty locations in the San Francisco, CA commuting area. The employee will be expected to report to various work locations as directed without additional compensation for travel.
