Position Summary

The Pharmacist will oversee the daily operations of our in-house dispensary, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing for our patients. This role will also support the planning and development of our retail pharmacy, including workflow design, regulatory compliance, and patient service models. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a growing healthcare environment.

Position Summary

The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications, while providing exceptional clinical counseling and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, enjoys problem-solving, and values strong patient relationships.

Duties

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all regulatory and safety standards, including HIPAA compliance.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy, considering medical history, physiology, and anatomy knowledge.
  • Provide expert consultation on medication administration, drug interactions, and medical management strategies to healthcare providers and patients.
  • Oversee pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and quality assurance processes Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and compliant operations
  • Maintain accurate records, uphold compliance standards, and contribute to a culture of safety
  • Utilize pharmacy software and electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, prescriptions, and medication records precisely.
  • Support patient service initiatives by offering education on medication use, side effects, and lifestyle modifications for improved health outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Florida
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, dispensing standards, and clinical protocols
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and patient-engagement skills
  • ·Ability to work independently and adapt to a growing, fast-paced environment
  • Prior retail or community pharmacy experience preferred; start-up experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
