JOB SUMMARY:

The Layout Coordinator is responsible for receiving and sorting garments for internal and external decoration orders daily. They are to prioritize receiving, sorting, stagging, communicating discrepancies, and updating digital documents for external Decoration Orders. They are also required to assist and work with The Decoration Supervisor and Decoration Lead. Others responsible will include but not limited to, assisting our Layout Dept with the sorting process of internal Decoration orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):

•  Arrives to work on time and in the proper condition to perform assigned duties as scheduled – attendance is a basic work requirement.
• Clocks-in and -out according to policy.
• Follows all published work and safety rules for the facility.
• Works closely with Production Scheduler and Floor Supervisor to understand what orders need special attention.
• Use computers and software for order breakdown visibility and communication.
• Stages garments on assigned shelves or in assigned staging area per protocol after being dropped off in layout area by pickers.
• Looks for and locates garments arriving from internal and external warehouses.
• Confirms necessary material is present. Communicates errors to Appropriate Contact by electronic messaging or in-person as needed.
• Performs normal layout functions as needed in below steps:
• Pulls garments from the staging area according to the sizes, colors and styles indicated on the work order, ensuring that the counts for each size and style are correct.
• Inspects garments for defects.
• Lays out orders on layout tables or train, sorting garments by size or by protocol.
• Cleans work area daily and as required.
• Completes all daily tasks, as assigned.
• Meets individual and team productivity and quality goals.
• May be cross trained in other areas of the department based on business needs.

• This position works in a non-temperature controlled warehouse. It can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter.
• The noise level is moderate. Hearing protection is typically not required.
• Gloves are provided for hand protection when applicable.

WORK HOURS:

• Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM.
• Overtime and weekend work may be requested during busy periods.

DRESS CODE:

• Dress appropriate.
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
